Hi all! Thanks for reading my message! I'm curious to get my family tree mapped out and I want to do this in a place that it can truly benefit those who come behind me where they can find it, and where information isn't held hostage for commercial purposes to sell memberships in somebody's business.

In my family we have a (now out of print) book chronicling the progression of my family between ~1555–1970, and I'd love to get that information entered into the site and to flesh out my family tree since the book was published for the most complete picture of where my family came from and is going!

I agree to the Code and support the Mission, and while I may not be the most avid amateur genealogist, I do promise to be respectful and to do my part to make this site useful to others.
