Sergeant Daniel Holladay Jr. served with 2nd South Carolina Regiment, Continental Army during the American Revolution.

Daniel, son of Daniel Holliday, Sr. and his wife Agnes,^[2] was born in South Carolina in 1752.^[3][1]

At the time of Daniel Jr.'s enlistment, "he resided in South Carolina on the High Hills of Santee, now known as Sumter District." He lived in South Carolina until 1826.^[4]

Daniel married Martha Knighton.^[1][5]
