Carrie was the second wife of Rev. David Andrew Thompson.

They were married in Washington County, Tennessee on 5 April 1871.^[1]

In 1880 David and Carrie were living in a family that blended children from David's two marriages.

Carrie was a widow and living with her children in Anderson, Madison, Indiana in 1900. Her daughter Florine was age 28, b March 1872 in Tennessee. She was a dress maker. Her mother Cassie was b Feb 1847 in Missouri. Her brother Ruben was age 25, b Tennessee. Her sister Olive was age 22, b. Tennessee. Her brother Robert was age 17, b. Tennessee. Her sister Nellie was age 13, b. Tennessee.^[3]

She died in 1909.^[4]
