Biography
Florence was born 16 Apr 1868. She was the daughter of Arthur Kemmis and Emily Gibson.
She married Walter Farquhar on 1 May 1889 at Ba River, Letuka, Fiji. Their marriage notice was published in the Mackay Mercury.
"FARQUHAR—KEMMIS.—On May 1st, at "Rarawai," Ba River, Letuka, Fiji, by the
Rev. W. Floyd, Walter A., second son of the late Captain Farquhar, Darling Point,
Sydney, to Emily Florence Minna, second daughter of Arthur Kemmis, of "The
Chase," Mackay."[1]
She passed away in 1943.
"FARQUHAR.—August 8, 1943, at Killara, Florence Emily Minna, widow of the late
Walter A. Farquhar."
