Biography

Leona was born in 1883. The county birth records say the 1st of Nov.; her social security record said Oct. 31. She is the daughter of George Kitt and Lizzie Schrader. She married William Barber. He was a farmer. They owned a farm in Thorncreek, Whitley county. They had a daughter named Mildred. Leona lived to be 99 years old!
