Biography

Samuel was born January 8, 1879 in Troisdorf, Siegkreis, Rheinprovinz, Germany.^[1]

Samuel married Hedwig Heilberg and they had a child, Ruth.^[2]

Samuel lived in Troisdorf and Köln[Cologne, about 15 miles from Troisdorf] until he was deported from Köln to the Łódź ghetto in Poland. He arrived on October 30, 1941. On May 10, 1942 he was moved to the Chelmno extermination camp. Samuel died there, probably within a few days of her arrival. He was officially declared dead at the end of World War II. ^[1]
