Thomas Longshaw was born in 1840 [1] in Warrington, Lancashire, England, the son of Thomas Longshaw and Mary Rathbone.[2]
He was baptised on 15 May 1840 in Warrington. [3]
His father died.
In 1851 Thomas (age 10) was living in Pendleton, Lancashire with his widowed mother and siblings.[4]
When Thomas was 26 he married Sarah Ann Ashton on 18 July 1866 in Manchester Cathedral, Lancashire. [5]
In Thomas was in Manchester with his wife and daughter. They were visiting his mother (who had remarried). [2]
