Mary Ellen Longshaw was born in 1842 [1] in Warrington, Lancashire, England, the daughter of Thomas Longshaw and Mary Rathbone.[2]
She was baptised on 14 October 1842 in Warrington. [2]
In 1851 Mary was living in Pendleton, Lancashire with her widowed mother and 2 siblings. [3]
When Mary was 19 she married John Huck on 7 December 1861 in Manchester Cathedral, Lancashire. [4] The couple had at least 2 children.
In 1891 Mary was living in Moss Side, Lancashire with her husband and 2 sons. Her niece Annie Seddon was living with them. [5]
