Biography
July 8, 1857 -- James Longstreet was born at Sante Fe, New Mexico Territory. [1]
January 26, 1862 -- James Longstreet (age 4) died from scarlet fever at Richmond, Henrico County, Virginia. [2] Also died of scarlet fever was his brother Augustus Baldwin and sister Mary Ann.[3]
