Gerard De Braybrooke, married (1st) Margaret de Longeville, daughter of John de Longeville, by his wife, Margaret. They had two sons, Gerard, and Reginald, and one daughter, Joan. He served as an esquire in the entourage of Edward the Black Prince in the Gascon expedition in 1355-7, and in a campaign in 1359. He married (2nd) (as her 3rd husband) 2 May 1369 Isabel De Meynell, widow successively of Thomas de Shirley, and John de Wodhull), and daughter of Hugh de Meynell, by his 2nd wife, Alice, daughter Nicholas de Audley. They had one son, Ralph, and one daughter, Nichole.
