Hi there,

I have info that suggests that my paternal line Daniel LeBlanc might have actually had William Alexander as a father and not the father suggested by Ancestry. I was wondering how to compare kits. I have my DNA on Ancestry, GEDmatch and Family Tree DNA....

Hi!

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful. Not sure what to include in a profile? Check out our Biography Ideas and Styles and Standards help pages. Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies. Looking for a specific person? Try under “find” and enter the name you are looking for with dates if you have them. It is very important to you and to others that you include as much bio info about individuals as possible & don’t forget the need for sources. You will come to appreciate the need for this background info and sources as you continue with WikiTree. If you have any questions, feel free to ask via MY PERSONAL profile page! Eugene,

I thought it was best to have the Grianan name in there somewhere so as to distinguish him from other Archies. Will there be any problem tacking the Grianan on the end of MacDonald. It was nice to find all of this. Thanks for your work. I have done a fair bit of work on our branch and sundry Grianan descendents

What do you think about using the current Last Name to tie in the location? (i.e. MacDonald of Grianan) see how i didi it in MacDonald-2254.

I am interested in the the Macdonalds of North Uist and Sleat. Also the Wilsons of Crossan in Ireland.

I have fairly reasonable knowledge of our family back as far as the early 1800's. cheers, Alan.
