François Marchand was born and baptized on July 17, 1706 in Port Royal, Canada, Nouvelle-France.[1]
He was the son of Louis Marchand and Marie Gaudin from Acadie.
He lived in Canseau (Canso, Nova Scotia) Acadia.[citation needed]
He married Marguerite Vigneault, daughter of Antoine Vigneault and Marie Madeleine Pichet, on June 28, 1728 at Notre-Dame-de-Québec.[2]
He died probably in Québec after 1745. This is a guess.
