Biography

Hilton Moseley was born 2 January 1888 in Georgia, the son of Dennis Mosely and Sarah Emily Hughes Mosely[1].

In 1900[2], 1910[3], and 1920[4], he lived in Vidalia, Toombs County, Georgia with his parents and siblings.

He registered for the draft for World War I where he was described as being medium of height and build, with light blue eyes, light brown hair, and some kind of deformity of both hands[5].

Hilton Mosley was unmarried and boarded in the home of Loto Mimbs in Vidalia in 1930[6]. In 1940, he was head of household with his sisters Rose Annie and Gladys, her husband Johnie Wiggins and their son Johnie Lewis Wiggins[7].

He died 4 October 1943 in Toombs County, Georgia[8][9], and was buried in North Thompson Baptist Church Cemetery, Vidalia, Toombs County, Georgia[1].
