John Northwood was a son of Thomas Northwood and Jane Selina (Reynolds) Northwood.[1][2]

Birth

He was born 12 December 1847 in Kingswinford, Staffordshire, England.[2][3]

Marriage

John Northwood and Henrietta Tolley were married between July and September 1871 in the registration district of Stourbridge (Staffordshire and Worcestershire), England.[4] She died in 1891.[5]

He and Esther (Gordon) Turner were married 5 October 1891 at Tipton, Staffordshire.[6][7]

  • 1851 (with his grandmother Sarah Reynolds) at Hollund, Brockmoor, Kingswinford, Staffordshire. [2]

The death of John Northwood was registered between January and March 1940 in the registration district of Wednesbury (Staffordshire), England. He was 92 years of age.[15]

Research Notes

  • 1939 register: Not found relationship to William and Mabel Pullen. Possibly some relative of Esther by her previous marriage (Ancestry Clayton Family Tree, contains a lot of Turners)
  • 1939 register: Not known what a "Closeneeler" is. Possibly something to do with Iron Annealer.
  • 1940 Wednesbury registration district includes Tipton.
  • Not found in National Probate Calendar.
