Biography

Genealogically Defined

Hetty was born on the 16th February 1789[1] at Stisted, Essex, England[2] and baptised on the 20th March 1789 at All Saints, Stisted, Essex, England, the daughter of Joseph Ogles and Elizabeth Ogles[1].

On the 3rd November 1808, Hetty, a spinster, married Samuel Smith, a bachelor, at All Saints, Stisted, Essex, England. Witnessed by Isaac Sibley and Mary Ogles[3][4]

Hetty's husband Samuel died aged 41 years in 1829 and was buried on the 1st May 1829 at All Saints, Stisted, Essex, England[5]

Hetty died aged 63 years in 1853 at Coggeshall, Essex, England and was buried on the 15th September 1853 at St. Peter ad Vincula, Coggeshall, Essex, England[6]
