Biography

Sarah was born on the 27th November 1793 and baptised on the 18th June 1810 at All Saints, Stisted, Essex, England, the daughter of Joseph Ogles and Elizabeth Ogles. ^[1]

In 1818, Sarah gave birth to an illegitimate daughter, Emma Ogles, whose father may have been Abraham Carter alias Humphrey.

On the 6th December 1819, Sarah, a spinster or Stisted, married Abraham Carter alias Humphrey, bachelor, at St. Andrew, Halstead, Essex, England. Witnessed by Richard Bridges and Robert Whingates^[2].

Sarah died in 1881 at Pattiswick, Essex, England.
