Sarah was born in 1837. She passed away in 1869.

Sarah (aged about 3), along with her parents, William and Elizabeth (Harris) Pike and her siblings; Edwin (aged about 8), Charlotte (aged about 5), Mary (aged about 2) and Alfred (under a year old), sailed from Gravesend, England to New Zealand on the Gertrude, in 1841. Alfred died within a year, apparently. (See passenger list for ship Gertrude )
