Biography
Maria (Marya) Polhemius was baptised Oct. 2, 1698, in the Brooklyn Dutch Church; sponsors, Cornelius Sebring and Maria Vanderveer. Entry in Brooklyn First Church, Protocolle Book, 1660-1664.[1]
Marya was named as his child in her father's will (Daniel Polhemius of Flatbush), dated Dec. 14, 1705. [2]
Marya married Cornelis Evertse, a son of Cornelis Evarts or Evertse. [citation needed]
