Migration vers la Nouvelle-France:
Son mari et elle migrent vers le Canada avec cinq de ses enfants (Simon, Marie, Claude, Denis et Michel) en 1635.[9][10]

Mathurine et son époux se font don mutuel de leurs biens le 20 août 1657.[6]

Décès:
Le 16 avril 1662, âgée d'environ 70 ans, Mathurine Robin décède à Beauport et est inhumée le lendemain à la paroisse Notre-Dame de Québec.[3] [11][4][5][6]

Descendance:
Elle avait 2 150 descendants nord-américains en 1729.[8] Au début du 21ième siècle, elle avait environ 123 800 descendants.[12]

My 10th GGM. Shows we are related at Belanger-38. Job Cournoyer. My Grandpa. My Gram loved saying, “Are they from Webster?” My two Aunts lived in Holyoke. I have a brother in Indiana. Taught as well. I live on Cape Cod. Not wealthy though except in Spirit.

Just curious - who deleted all but an occasional word from the English notes on this person? I'm tired of this kind of thing & I'm deleting my name from the list of "managers" of this ancestor of mine. By the way, I love the French language & read it with ease - that's not my issue, but rather, the way that many cooks mess carelessly with the broth.

The DCB link just goes to the main Dictionary of Canadian Biography page, not to the biography of Mathurine. I could not find a bio for Mathurine (Robin)- but did find spouse's (GUYON DU BUISSON, JEAN (senior)) biography at that site: [1]

Additionally, the Dictionnaire généalogique des familles du Québec (link should show the information for 'Robin' on p.548 [2] (lists Reference: RAPQ, 1975, p. 196).

ah - I see Claude's point now. I don't see why it can't be "(dite) Boulé" instead of "dite Boulé" in the Other Last Name field. You'd just need to mark the error as false. (Click Error Report under Robin-180 in the mini-menu at upper right. The database is reset every Sunday night, if I recall.)

If that's not an option - and some errors, you can't mark as a false error - then this is something that would need to have Aleš take a look at.

Post to G2G from here & add db_errors as a tab... also, I was told at one point to tag it with the error number, but I can't find how that's supposed to be styled. db_error_791 maybe?

( ) Error #791 Separators in Last Name Other. http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:DBE_791 These characters are being flagged as errors in the database errors program. I suggest any questions should be posted in G2G and tagged so Ales can answer. Also in French, "dit" is masculine and "dite" is feminine. If the dit name is for the first name, it would go in the nickname field; else put it in the "other last name field".

Seems to me that Claude is right about aka & dit/dite, since the latter indicates a nickname, and having the two appear together is not only superfluous but jarring (I was going to say "clunky").

If so, I don't know the answer for that, but it seems odd to me to use "(dite) Boulé" instead of "dite Boulé".
