Biography
William was born on 15 Apr 1890 at Percydale, Victoria, Australia.[1] He is the son of David Rodwell and Mary Curnick.
He shifted to NZ and married Eileen Victoria Francis KEATING in 1913. He settled in Arrowtown, near Frankton, NZ, and his occupation was a Grocer. [2]
William and Eileen had 3 children, one born after his early death at age 25.They were William Andrew, [3] Eileen Victoria Frances, [4] and Mary Reta. [5][6]
William died on 11 December 1915[7] in New Zealand from phthisis pulmonilis (TB). He was buried Roman Catholic on 14 Dec 1915 at Frankton Cemetery, Queenstown, Queenstown-Lakes District, Otago, New Zealand (1st interment in public plot no. 540)[8]
