Biography

Josephine was born in 1860. She was the daughter of Joseph Sohl and Gertrude Hune,^[1] both German immigrants to Pennsylvania.

She was married to steel mill manager Francis R. Schneider. They were the parents of 10 children:^[2]

• Clara Sophia Schneider (1883–1961) married Carl J. Lutz.
• Francis Anthony Schneider (1885–1893)
• Aloysius Andrew Schneider (1888–1961)
• Lawrence Eugene Schneider (1889–1977) married Hannah N. Gray.
• Raymond Joseph Schneider (1892–1895)
• Albert Raphael Schneider (1894–1900)
• Edward Gerard Schneider (1897)
• Edwin Joseph Schneider (1899–1974)
• Josephine Marie Schneider (1902–1926)
• Leo Anthony Schneider (1903–1942) married Bernice V. Blickle.

Josephine Schneider died in 1927.^[1]
