Biography

Jean Baptiste Sonnier was the son of Jean Baptiste Saulnier and Marie Anne Roy. He was baptized on 25 August 1776 at St. James Parish, Louisiana, New Spain.[1]

He married Adelaide LeBlanc, daughter of Come LeBlanc and Isabelle Broussard, on 8 June 1813 at St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.[2]

He married Adelaide Saucier, daughter of Louis Saucier and Celeste Jacques Fontenot, before 1835.[citation needed]
