Biography
Jane was the daughter of Harris Tomlinson and Winifred Crowder. She passed away in Williamson County, IL sometime before 16 May 1872, when her widowed husband married Sarah Lamaster.
She died before 2 Dec 1771. On that date, her husband Buckner sold land in Williamson County IL; if she had been living, she would have been a party to the deed as well.
Jane is buried at the Pleasant Grove Methodiest Church Cemetery at Pittsburg, Illinois, next to her daughter Mary (Rainey) Walker and son-in-law John Walker, and a granddaughter Margaret (Walker) Lathen. Her small headstone simply says "Grandma Rainey"[1]
