Biography
John was born about 1755. He was the son of Edmond Toney and was named in his father's will [1].
He served in Revolutionary War (Militia Capt; Hughes Mayo, Geo. Williamson, Hughes Woodson) [2] [3].
He married first Sarah Taylor on 20 Dec 1779 in Powhatan County, Virginia [4] [5].
He married second Susannah Wilkerson on 19 Jan 1784 in Powhatan County, Virginia [6].
He died on 30 March 1835 [7] [8].
