Robert was Baillie to the Dallas family in 1672, pg 254, and named as " in St Mertines" and 1679, pg 263 of Dallas family book (below) named as second lawful son of Alexander Urquhart of Newhall.
I can prove that my Urquhart line is related to the family in Inverness which is a cadet of Newhall because I have traced their son Leonard, writer to the Signet, as a son to John . Leonard's father, John is witness for several baptism's of my William Urquhart's children. I cannot, however, work out which son they belong to. Because of their use continual use of Robert, I am leaning towards this son, or James, the ships carpenter.
