Supposed 1st Marriage
~1761 • : m. Jane McGrath (1740–) Cromarty, Ross & Cromarty, Scotland. This marriage is reported in documents emanating from Warren, Maine in the years after the American Revolution. Family historians dispute this marriage; it is recorded here as a challenge to anyone to provide documentary evidence.

Purported evidentiary letters offered by Warren, Maine historian suggest that Rev Urquhart's supposedly abandoned and destitute 1st wife and daughter is now making claims.

1790 • Occupation: Minister. St George's Church, Warren, Knox, Maine, USA.

Birth and death dates
There is a discrepancy between the birth and death dates given by FindAGrave and other sources. Notably, a baptismal record gives his birthdate as one day earlier than FindAGrave. Matching birth and death days seem suspicious. Other sources give death date as 1 Sep, not 23 Sep.
