Ernst August (Ernest Augustus) was born in 1629. He married Princess Sophia of the Palatinate in 1658. He became the Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg (Braunschweig-Lüneburg) in 1679 and the Elector (Kurfürst) of Hanover in 1692. He died in 1698. He was the father of George I of Great Britain and Ireland.
He m. his wife Sophia in 1658 and they were still married when he died in 1698. His profile has two other spouses who have been removed.
The first Klara Von Meysenburg, who was not his wife but was acknowledged to be the mother of his illegitimate child Charlotte, Countess of Darlington.
The second, Paleotti Bologna, also had an illegitmate child Laura who I can't find any documentation for either one.
