Biography
Charlotte Wise was born on May 6, 1831 in Tioga County, New York[1]. In 1849, she married Ruben Raney[2] and together they had 7 children. In 1860, the couple and three of their children were living in Douglas, Iowa[3]. She died in 1874 in Centerville, Iowa and was buried in Haines Cemetery, Rathbun, Iowa[4].
