Martha, daughter of Eleanor and William Wytcherley, was baptised on 28 Mar 1813 in Stoke upon Tern (near Market Drayton)[1]
In 1851, 38 year old Martha is living with her mother, Ellen Wycherley (75) in St. Michael's Street, Shrewsbury[2]. Martha is not married but it appears that she has two children.
In 1861, 47 year old Martha is living with her husband Richard in Roushill Bank, Shrewsbury[3]
In 1871, 55 year old Martha is living with her husband in Barker Street, Shrewsbury[4].
In 1881, 68 year old Martha has reverted to her original name of Wycherley and is living with her daughter Mary who is now married to Samuel Harley[5]. She is recorded as a widow, but this is doubtful (see research notes).
In 1891, 78 year old Martha is living with her daughter Mary and her husband Samuel[6].

In 1851, Mary Wycherley is living with Martha and in 1861 is listed as Martha's daughter.
In 1881 it is interesting that Mary's claims to be a widow and has dropped the Meyrick name (reverting back to Wycherley). It is unclear whether she and Richard were married since I could find no marriage record.
In 1891 Mary is still claiming to be a widow but there is evidence that her "husband" Richard Meyrick is now sadly in the Union Workhouse.
