Biography

Charles Wycherley was born in about 1826 in Wem, Shropshire. He was the son of Richard and Mary Wycherley.

On 7 June 1841, Charles was in the household of his father in New Street, Wem, Shropshire.

By March 30th 1851, Charles was in Liverpool, working as an assistant to a tea dealer named James Gilbert.

Charles married Ellen.

By April 7th 1861, they were living in Prescot, Lancashire; Charles was a grocer and tea dealer.

Charles died in 1894 at Liverpool Royal Infirmary, aged 68. He was buried on 7 Mar 1894 at Prescot St Mary's.
