George W. Lafayette Marsh OR Daniel Boone Marsh, his younger brother. Cynthia Charlotte Roe married George and had five children, only three of these lived to adulthood. George became ill and realizing he was dying, begged his younger brother, Daniel, to care for his wife and small children. Dan married Cynthia, reared her children plus the two sons he and Cynthia had.
