State of Mississippi} Neshoba County} This indenture made the twenty seventh day of March eighteen hundred and sixty nine between Thomas McKee of the county of Neshoba and State of Mississippi of the first part and Mary Jones, E. S. Jones, E. A. Underwood, Margret E. McKee and John McKee, M. B. Kirk, D. R. H. Kirk, W. W. Purvis and his wife F. R. Purvis of the second part. Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of seven hundred and eighty two and half dollars lawful money of the United States to him duly paid before the delivery hereof hath bargained and sold and by these presents doth grant and convey to the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever all that certain piece or parcel of land lying and being in the county of Neshoba and State of Mississippi and which is known and described as follows, to wit. The Elizabeth Jones Deceased tract, containing one hundred & eighty acres, more or less to wit. South half of South West ¼ and part of South west ¼ of South East ¼ Section twenty three Town and the North west ¼ of North East ¼ and North west ¼ of Section twenty six all in Township nine Range Ten. Together with all and singular the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances and all the Estate title and interst of the said party of the first part therein and the said party of the first part doth hereby covenant and agree with the said party of the second part that at the time of the delivery therof the said party of the first part is the lawful of the premise above granted and seized thereof in fee simple, absolute and that they will warrant and defend the above granted premises in the quiet and peaceable possession of the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever
