St. Petersburg Metrical Books: An Important New Resource

Dear all,

For those of you working on families - particularly of the noble and bureaucratic classes - in St. Petersburg before the revolution, there's an important new resource that shouldn't be overlooked.  One dedicated researcher on VGD has indexed 60,000+ metrical book entries which can be accessed at:

It's only a drop in the ocean, but a significant one.  I've already located several items, particularly late 19th / early 20th century marriages, which I hadn't been able to find before.

All best wishes,

Kelsey
