Guess who the middle child is

Question

This is a photo of my 2nd great grandparents and their children.

My great grandmother is the middle child of the girls. She is two years younger than the oldest and six years older than the youngest. Who out of the three would you guess is her? My guess has been the middle.

You can upvote the answer you guess is right.

Edit:

I've been in touch with a descendant of of the eldest daughter and he confirmed she is the one to the lower right. He thinks my great grandmother Elin is on the lower left but isn't sure. I'll see if other relatives reply. That rules out one person as Elin for now.

I think it would be easier to tell if there was a later photo of her too. Are there any?

I don't have any unfortunately. Both her sons died before I was born and my dad was 2 when she died. I've asked my dad if he can find any old photos. He says he has seen some before, but they were unmarked and he didn't know who they were. Though if she is in an older photo, I could probably recognize her.

Thank you . I've just been in touch with the granddaughter of the person who originally uploaded the photo to ancestry. Unfortunately, she died and her granddaughter isn't sure who is who in the photo either, though she will ask her uncle. I've sent messages to all my DNA matches through them, so I'll hopefully get to the bottom of it and maybe even get some more photos if they exist!

I'll vote for the one in the middle as well- since you voted for her twice...  Her and the one on the left could be twins- are you sure there is a year separation?

You are right, they do look so similar which makes it harder to see the age gap. If all the census records are to be trusted, then they weren't twins.

I think you're on the right track, find another relative with family photos, hopefully with notations of who is who...

Also look on ancestry for others who attached that photo to their trees- who knows who has a reference that will help you.

My wife's Norwegian ancestry took a picture of immigrants when they were in Michigan, and then notations helped me make a couple family connections.

Thank you for the tips! I haven't had any concrete evidence yet, but I've been in touch with a few relatives. The original uploader died unfortunately, but the woman on the lower right has been ruled out.

If you zoom in on the photo,  the girl in the lower left appears to have a "lazy eye". Possibly you could check later photos for that feature. May help differentiate the two.
