I just came across the profiles of Martha Warren and Stephen Place, two Rhode Islanders who lived in the 1700s. Unfortunately it seems like this profile & the familysearch profile attached to the only source have combined Martha Warren and Martha Perkins, who lived near each other but seem to have separate (though unsourced) death dates. There is no proof that Martha Perkins ever had the last name Warren, and it seems that these two Stephen Places are different people.

This begs the question: how do we figure out Martha Warren's actual dates? Are the children also conflated?
Unfortunately I was working on separate 'Place' profiles, this was a similar profile I stumbled across, so I don't have any data on this family. But it seems that researchers often confuse them so it would be majorly helpful if we could get them separated out.
