Are you sure it's the same Henry? The 1880 census shows Henry's age as 17. Which would make him 15 when he married in Dec1878. Now women got married that young, but men tended to be a bit older. The census was taken in Jun 1880, the child is listed as 3/12 means he was born Feb/Mar 1880. Working backward, the mother got pregnant in Jun/Jul 1879. So if we assume that Lucy and Nancy are two different people, and Lucy was the mother, Henry would have had to have lost one wife, and then met and married a new person all in 3 months This is not likely. If they were different women and Nancy was the mother then Henry married Nancy within 6 months of his marriage to Lucy. Possible but not likely. So there are only two options left. Lucy and Nancy are the same person, or the two Henrys are not the same person. Hope that makes sense. Good Luck
