LNAB for illegitimate child with unknown mother

I have a woman, Johan (or Joan), who was one of three illegitimate children of Sir John Alen, twice Lord Mayor of London in early 16C. The two brothers have known last names other than Alen, presumably those of their mothers and, maybe, step-fathers. There is no information on Johan, however the relationship is known because in his will Sir John names them as his children, but only using their first names. I'm thinking her LNAB should be Unknown but I'd like to get some guidance.

Hi Chris,

Here you have a father who actually acknowledged the children. If you do not have the baptism records, I think it would be appropriate to use the father's surname for the LNAB.
