Biography
Arthur's birth was registered in the Oct-Nov-Dec quarter of 1860 in the The Romford Union district.[1] Arthur, child of William Henry Balch & Martha Rebecca Balch, was baptised on 10 October 1860 in Barking, St Margaret, Essex, England.[2]
In the 1861 census Arthur (age 7 months) was the son of Martha Balch in Barking, Barking St Margaret, Essex, England.[3] In the 1871 census Arthur (age 10) was the son of Martha R Balch in Great Grimsby, Lincolnshire, England.[4]
Arthur (age 28), son of William Henry Balch, married Eliza Crisp in 1887 in Great Grimsby, St.James Church, Lincoln, England.[5][6]
In the 1891 census Arthur (age 30) was the head of household in Great Grimsby, Great Grimsby, Lincolnshire, England.[7] In the 1901 census Arthur (age 40) was the head of household in Grimsby, Great Grimsby, Lincolnshire, England.[8] In the 1911 census Arthur (age 50), Plumber, was the married head of household at 55 Fraser Street Gt Grimsby Lincolnshire, Clee, Lincolnshire, England.[9]
Arthur's death (age 63) was registered in the Jan-Feb-Mar quarter of 1924 in the Grimsby district.[10][11] Arthur died on 15 March 1924 in Lincolnshire, England and their estate passed probate on 5 February 1925 in Lincoln.[12]
