I know very little (next to nothing) about my Grandmother. I am not even sure of her maiden name.
My Grandmother raised me and my brother. My Grandfather died before I was born.
Things I think I know,
She was born June 10, 1888 in Grayson County, Texas Her given name was ' Mary Mae ' Her maiden was either ' Mitchell ' or ' Beaver ' She married ' Jesse John Hopkins ' 18 December 1905 They had 6 children, Robert Louis Hopkins Infant Hopkins Adele Hopkins Ruby Pearl Hopkins ( my mother ) Ona May Hopkins Clothie Lee Hopkins ( All of my Grandmother's children have passed. ) Jesse John Hopkins passed on 29 May 1928 near Slidell, Wise, Denton County, Texas. Mary Mae Hopkins passed on 27 September, 1951 , Corpus Christi, Texas
