I am the youngest son of the youngest son of the braddock family from london I know the two sons of my Uncle Joe emigrated to New Zealand in the sixties. My mother was Kathleen Josephine Daly from Bandon County Cork Ireland. I have DNA information and want to explore both sides of my family and cousins from around the world.

Hi Campbell, Thanks for your offer to help. I am a bit of a novice, having had, as a birthday gift this year a DNA test on My Heritage. Although another family member has been in contact regarding family in Canada, and has provided some interesting info with that side of the family, so I am progressing. For your information I am the youngest son of my father, Walter Braddock born in 1914, his eldest brother Joseph Braddock, born just before 1900 had two sons. The gap between their birth and my birth was too large and their first names have been lost or forgotten over time, I never knew them. They emigrated, at different times to New Zealand sometime in the 1950's or early 1960's so, their family trees in New Zealand will begin around that time. There was a rumour that the eldest brother was at some point a mayor in or around Wellington, but my searches have provided no proof. If there is any info you can provide I would be very grateful.
