Biography

Chester David Fulmer Sr. was born on January 29, 1921, in Easton, Northampton, Pennsylvania. He was the son of of Chester Fulmer and Frances Johnson White.

In 1930, he was living with his parents and siblings in Easton, Northampton, Pennsylvania.[1][2] In 1936, the family moved to Lancaster, Lancaster, Pennsylvania where they were living in 1940.[3]

Chester registered for the World War II draft in February 1942 in Easton, Northampton, Pennsylvania.[4]

At the age of 22, Chester married Eleanor Anna Baleshta on April 17, 1943, at Olivet Presbyterian Church in Easton, Northampton, Pennsylvania, when she was 21 years old.[5][6] They had four children - Chester David Jr., Holly Ann, Tim, and Robert.

He served as a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy between January 15, 1944 and February 27, 1946.[7]

In 1950, the family was living in Camp Hill, Cumberland, Pennsylvania, where Chester was a airways engineer in the civil aeronautics industry.[8]

Chester died in Dover, Kent, Delaware, on March 23, 2002, at the age of 81.[9] He was buried at Lakeside Cemetery in Dover, Kent, Delaware.[10][11]
