I was born in Kaiapoi, a small town about 40 minutes north of Christchurch, New Zealand . I moved into Christchurch at the time of my first marriage, where I lived for many years while raising my four sons.
After I remarried, my husband Oliver and I moved around New Zealand for his work before moving to Brisbane, Australia. We lived there for ten years before moving back to New Zealand. We now live in Palmerston North, New Zealand.
I have Scottish ancestry on my father's side and English ancestry on my mother's side. Both sides emigrated from Scotland and England to the South Island of New Zealand in the 1850s-1860s. The Grahams to the Otago region. The Creamers to the Canterbury region.
Currently I am working on tracing my Graham roots, back to Scotland's early days, and also have done some work on my husband Oliver's Britz/Brits South African roots. A bit harder as I don't speak Afrikaans, but very interesting. I appreciate any and all help on my research.

I would like to continue with the Scotland Project, working with my current teams. I spend about 30 hours a month working on Scottish profiles, and more hours working wherever those profiles lead me. Regards, Dawn
Thanks for getting back to me and thank you for all the work you do adding sources for our Scottish ancestors!
