EMIGRANT: Heinrich migrated 5 September1748 on the ship Edinburgh, James Russel, Master from Rotterdam last from Portsmouth. (His father came in October 1754 after the death of Heinrich's mother in April 1754. He is buried in Friedensaal Cemetery. (Friedensaal means Hall of Peace in German.).

After the Treaty of Frankfort, 1871 Alsace was ceded to the German Empire. Alsace remained part of the German Empire until 1918, when it was awarded to France after World War I.
