Biography

Lighthouse Keeper at Sombrero Key, Sand Key, and Jupiter Inlet Lighthouses (1859-1861). Forced to leave Jupiter in August 1861 by Confederate sympathizers who disabled the lighthouse.^[1][2]

Married Louisa J. Sawyer in the early 1850s. Had at least 4 children: Mary, Petrona, Louisa, Frank.^[3][4]

Remarried to Rosario A. Catala, a Cuban, on 11 October 1876 and was still married at his death.^[5][6][7]
