Research Notes
A Christopher Phillips married Agnes Abram at Chichester, Sussex on 26 Oct 1587. [2] Geographically these places are quite a long way apart for the time so the current marriage may be a conflation with another couple. Greet-49 07:30, 24 May 2021 (UTC)

Can we get confirmation of his marriages/wives? the narrative differs from what's linked to above the narrative. And we have only an online tree for one set of spouses. Is there nothing better?
Anderson's Great Migration Begins, p 1452-1456, profiles John Phillips-713 of Dorchester and Boston, and does not identify any parents; he has been, therefore, detached from this family.
Phillips-8979 and Phillips-1344 do not represent the same person because: This merger is based on an erroneous Phillips genealogy. I have never seen any primary source information on a spouse or parents for Christopher Phillips who died in 1621.
