Biography

William Raney was born in Arkansas about 1830 to Andrew Raney and Margaret/Peggy. - however is it possible Margaret is not his mother? or he's not George's son but another family member as he's listed as age 30, but doesn't show on the 1850 as age 20 (or could have lived on own)

In 1860^[1] they were living near Roseville in Lower, Frankling County, Arkansas and in the home were Wm RAney(56), Margaret Raney(40), William Raney(30), Charles Raney(22), Jenette raney(18), Geroge Raney(16), MA Raney(13), Grandchildren Wm Cook, and jennette Cook (4/12)
