Adam de Urquhart was born c 1320. He was the son of William de Urchard and Lillias Ross.[1][2][3]
On the 30th of September 1338, Adam was granted a Charter of all the lands of Inchrory in Ross-shire by William Ross, 5th Earl of Ross, and confirmation from DAVID II in 1358 of a Charter whereby the Earl of Ross granted him the Hereditary office of Sheriff.
He married Brigida, daughter of Sir Patrick Fleming of Biggar.
