Alice Warren was born on July 5, 1876 in Cottenham, Cambridgeshire, England, United Kingdom, daughter of William Warren and Elizabeth Ginn.^[1]

In the 1881 census Alice (age 4) was the daughter of William Warren in Cottenham, Cambridgeshire, England. She was a scholar and her father was a groom & gardener. She lived with her parents & 4 siblings.^[2][3]

In the 1891 census Alice (age 15) was the single servant of Eliza Human in Chesterton, Cambridgeshire, England. She was a General Servant Domestic.^[4]

Later that year she emigrated with her mother & siblings aboard the ship "Sardinian", arriving on July 5, 1891 in Quebec before travelling to Winnipeg.^[5]

Alice married Alfred Blow on 10 December 1895 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.^[6] The couple had at least 4 daughters.

Tragedy struck their family on July 1, 1896 when her drunken father killed her mother and then killed himself. The story is quite grizzly to read, but can be read in the Winnipeg Trubune (2 Jul 1896).^[7] Sadly, her brother Ernest developed typhoid fever a week or two later & died on July 26, 1896. The funerals for both her mother & brother left from her home.

In the 1901 census Alice (age 24) was the wife of Alfred Blow in Canada, Manitoba. Her husband was a Bricklaer.^[8]

In the 1906 census Alice (age 30) was the wife of Alfred Blow in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.^[9]

In the 1911 census Alice was the wife of Alfred Blow in Winnipeg, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.^[10]

In the 1916 census Alice (age 40) was the wife of Alfred Blow in Manitoba, Canada.^[11]

In the 1921 census Alice (age 44) was the wife of Alfred Blow in Winnipeg Centre, Manitoba, Canada. She was a housewife and her husband was a contractor.^[12]

In the 1926 census Alice (age 50) was the wife of Alfred Blow in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.^[13]

In the 1931 census Alice (age 54) was the wife of Alfred Blow in Winnipeg, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. She was a Home Maker.^[14]

Alice died (age 69) on 15 May 1946 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.^[15] She was buried at Brookside Cemetery.^[16]
