Albert Warren was born on May 8, 1881 in Cottenham, Cambridgeshire, England, United Kingdom, son of William Warren and Elizabeth Ginn.^[1]

In the 1891 census Albert (age 9) was the son of Elizabeth Warren in Cottenham, Cambridgeshire, England. He was a Scholar. His father had already emigrated, preparing for the family to arrive in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.^[2]

Albert (age 9) arrived on the ship Sardinian on 5 July 1891 in Quebec, Montreal, Canada having departed from Liverpool, England with his mother and siblings.^[3]

Tragedy struck their family on July 1, 1896 when his drunken father killed their mother and then killed himself. The story is quite grizzly to read but can be read in the Winnipeg Trubune (2 Jul 1896).^[4] Sadly, their brother Ernest developed typhoid fever a week or two later & died on July 26, 1896. The funerals for both their mother & brother left from Alice's home.

Albert married Mary Wilson on 28 December 1904 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.^[5]

In the 1926 census Albert (age 45) was the married head of household in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.^[9]

In the 1931 census Albert (age 50) was the married head of household in Winnipeg, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He was a Stableman.^[10]

Albert died on 5 August 1940 and was buried in Winnipeg, Greater Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.^[11][12][13]
