https://ancestors.familysearch.org/en/LCC5-KCX/thomas-w.-bass-1701-1786 site shows Thomas W. Bass 1701-1786 married to Elizabeth G. Howlett - son of Thomas Bass Sr. 1682-1769 married to Nancy Martha Wills. Is there maybe a meshing of 2 generation Thomas?

This comment by Cindy Triplett makes sense.  I don't have info on the Bass family, only on Thomas and Elizabeth's daughter, Mary, who married into the Moseley family.  Can someone with more expertise on the Bass family resolve this question?
